Journaling with Essential Oils

When I had the idea to design the Essential Ink Pen, I had already been a huge advocate for Essential Oils. The many health benefits they provide for the state of mind seemed like the perfect reason to create an aromatherapy tool people could use in everyday life. University book stores caught on to this quickly and started carrying the pen with essential oils for their students to help with anxiety and focus while writing or taking tests. 

Then it occurred to me...if this pen helps students with their focus when writing, then this pen would be perfect for journaling! So I put it to the test. I started journaling. At first it was a bit hard to decide what I wanted to write about, but I would fill my Essential Ink Pen with oil, then I would focus on what I want to achieve or manifest, and just start writing. What I put from pen to paper would inspire me to take the action needed to achieve my goals! I've designed a few products this way! 

 

Here are 4 ways essential oils can help you journal. There are literally hundreds of essential oils that can help you with journaling, but I'm just going to list a few of my fave's. Simply add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to your essential ink pen and inhale the inspiration!

1. Focus.

Lets get real....this is the HARDEST part of journaling. Staying focused for any length of time on ANYTHING can be a challenge for some, but using an essential oil in your essential ink pen for focus and concentration will keep you on task. Here are a few suggestions to use for that.

2. Calm.
