One thing he suggested, is to Develop a self-care toolkit. This can look different to everyone. A lot of successful self-care strategies involve a sensory component. An idea for each: a soft blanket, stuffed animal, a hot chocolate, photo's of vacations, comforting music, a calming or de-stressing essential oil, a rocking chair, a weighted blanket, a journal, an inspirational book... these are just a few things that can help regulate anxiety.
